Registered Yoga Teacher Kathleen Armstrong
Learn how to perfect your golf skills with our Yoga Teacher, Kathleen Armstrong! With the right stretches you can improve your golf game, increase flexibility and open your upper back, shoulders, hips, hamstrings, thighs, and strengthen your core. With practice you can increase your range of motion to improve your swing, improve stability to better hit your ball, improve your overall balance, and improve your focus using tried and true breathing techniques! You do not need to be flexible or have any experience to start your journey to being a better golfer. We will start out slow.
Golf Instructor Cindy Lamb
Cindy began her lifelong love affair with the game at 13 when her Dad cut down her Grand Dad’s old clubs and got her started. She played competitively as a junior, and as the only girl on the high school golf team. As Founder and President of the Miami University Women’s Golf Club, she led her team to compete in NCAA events. After college she played in a variety of competitive events including the Florida State Am, the Cincinnati Met, and the US National PubLinks. In addition to great instruction from her Dad, Cindy also had lessons with two of Cincinnati greats: Marty Kavanaugh, Master PGA Professional, and Carol Johnson, UC Golf Coach and LPGA Teaching Hall of Fame member. She has incorporated the best of their methods in her teaching technique. Cindy has worked in golf management with American Golf Corporation, as an independent golf rep, golf event planner and golf management consultant. Cindy successfully attended PGA’s Business School. She also spent 8 years teaching business in academia. Cindy has 15 years’ experience teaching golf lessons. “I love helping people enjoy the game more, and usually that means just working with their natural swing and helping them shave some strokes off. My philosophy is to keep it simple and have fun!” Best golf adventure? Three days at the Nancy Lopez Golf Adventure in Colorado!
