Who would ever guess it is February 1!! It feels like April out there to me.
We are closed until March 1 and we are having the nicest winter I can ever remember.
Since this winter was all aboutgrowing rootsit has been a splendid winter
for our greens and that thrills me.
Some of you played in October and November and know our greens were healing very nicely.
We did a lot to help them along when we closed and added a new strand of bent grass.
We were very pleased with the recovery in the fall.
We have continued to go above and beyond in our care for the greens.
We have covered some of the greens to enhance growth over the winter.
We can also thank Mother Nature for all the mild weather.
We are very happy with the progress and are on the path to
Reopen all 19 holes with no temporary greens on March 1
We truly believe we will have the best greens
we have ever had in 2012!!
Also for those of you who did not play...we have repaved all the cart paths on the back nine.
Mike McCaw and the entire team at Legendary are committed to keep this a top ranked course.
